Culturally responsive teachers work to affirm Black males' experiences by preparing and delivering lesson plans. Teachers should consider the books, visuals, and other class materials to ensure they reflect Black students' history, lives, and cultural perspectives. Teachers who are culturally responsive highlight their students' strengths in the classroom to engage them in the learning environment better. Emmanuel will discuss strategies for engaging Black male students so they can see themselves within the curriculum and beyond.
